Deuce and his son JD got out with me for a day trip they had won during the school Auction. Deuce is the Athletic Director at Lakeview Academy up in Gainesville. We had a great day out on the lake and I’m happy to say both JD and Dad had some fun for sure! Just check out these photo’s to see some of the monsters they boated…
Got out with the Boy today and we did good. We landed a bunch of fish including an 18 lb’er which was jigged back in Flat. What a fight on light tackle. Jonathan and I had our hands full as we had two fish on and basically were getting bit non-stop for a solid hour. We were able to catch them trolling too as we headed back to the dock. All in all it was a great day with the best of the season still to come.
My buddy Rick finally got his big fish. Caught during the “nite bite”, Rick can finally claim he’s in the big boys club. This beats out his more common 2 lb Stripers by a long shot!
